Energy Efficient Designs

Framing the performance that lowers bills and raises comfort
Energy efficiency starts with the frame. We build indoor, stick-built panels with envelope-first details that help your home stay comfortable year-round and keep monthly costs in check. From straighter walls to smarter air- and water-management, our framing sets up your insulation, windows, siding, and HVAC to perform the way they should.
Performance begins at the shell
We design and fabricate floors, walls, and roof panels with details that support tight air sealing, reduced thermal bridging, and durable moisture control. Panels are labeled and delivered in weather-proof wrap, then crane-set for a quick, clean dry-in.

How We Deliver Energy-Smart Framing

Our proven process blends smart design, sustainable materials, and efficient building practices to deliver homes faster without compromising quality.
01
Plan for Performance
We review plans for climate and code targets, coordinate wall and roof assemblies, and recommend details like raised-heel truss readiness, insulated headers, service cavities, and airtight top/bottom plate strategies.
02
Build Tight, Indoors
In the shop, panels are fabricated to tight tolerances. Sheathing layouts, blocking, and rough openings are optimized for continuous WRB, clean air-barrier paths, and easy insulation fit.
03
Verify & Hand Off
Before delivery, we run a performance-focused QC checklist and provide photo documentation. On site, we set fast and hand off a blower-door-ready shell that helps you hit your target ACH50 with the rater.

Who It’s For

Your Questions, Answered

Get clear answers to the most common questions about building, energy efficiency, and sustainable housing solutions.

A high-performing envelope (air sealing and insulation), efficient windows, and right-sized equipment planned early deliver lower energy use, better comfort, and durability.

No. Solar can be added, but efficiency starts with design: insulation, air sealing, windows, and efficient systems. Renewables are an option after you reduce your home’s energy load.

Air sealing and insulating the attic and walls are often among the most cost-effective improvements, along with efficient equipment and lighting.

Yes. State-run Home Energy Rebates can discount qualifying upgrades, and federal incentives may apply; availability varies by location and program rules.

Look for third-party programs such as ENERGY STAR Residential New Construction or DOE programs, or use tools like DOE’s Home Energy Score to assess and compare efficiency.

Your subs arrive in a straight, tight, and well-detailed shell. Insulators get clean cavities, window installers get square openings, and exterior crews benefit from a continuous WRB and rain-screen-ready layout. Inspections move faster, and schedules stay on track.
